The live performer for the November 9 Lafayette LIVE! is Fort Greene singer/songwriter Josephine Sailer! Join us under the flags on the patio in front of the church, for a full band performance followed by a ‘sneak-peek’ tour inside the now-closed Sanctuary, including its spectacular windows and mural.

All in the community are invited..! This free event happens the second Sunday of every month, and you don’t have to attend the morning worship services to take it all in… just stop by!

About the artist: Josephine Sailer is remembering. Through ceremony, tradition, silence, and song her purpose is to share truth in love through communal chanting, singing, moving, dancing and collective effervescence. 

About the tour: Take a sneak-peek tour inside the now-closed Sanctuary, including its spectacular windows and mural that wraps around the sanctuary titled “Cloud of Witnesses” (1978), created by a graduate of nearby Pratt Institute, Hank Prussing, images of people in the community at that time interspersed thematically with the collection of stained-glass windows by Tiffany Studios and others.
