How do you define church? In the Bible, “church” never refers to a building. It always refers to people—the people who follow Jesus Christ. What makes LAPC a great church is all of us. WE ARE LAPC.
With full participation in the 2024 pledge campaign, we will not only be able to continue the incredible work we already do together, but will be able to dream and plan courageously for the season ahead.
No pledge is too small. We encourage you to think of your pledge not as a binding financial contract, but as a generous commitment to the mission, values, and future of LAPC.
Does it matter if I do not pledge as long as I still support the church?
If you have supported our ministries in the past without pledging, we thank you. Your contributions make an enormous difference. However, for the coming year, in particular, we ask that you consider making a formal 2024 pledge so that our church can plan to make the best of our resources, creating an annual budget which accurately reflects both the needs of our church and the support of this community. When your contributions are reflected in the budgeting process, the church is able to best position herself for all of the challenges and the many opportunities ahead, especially as we look to welcome the new permanent pastor.
