As part of Lafayette LIVE! on the second Sunday of the month, The Lafayette Band, Joylynn Holder and Charlie Holder-Foster, Co-directors, performed outside on the patio, under the flags. Fort Greene neighbors stopped by to enjoy the music and to take sneak-peek tours of the sanctuary. In this clip, the inter-generational group of musicians perform John Lennon's "All You Need is Love."

Lafayette LIVE! is a new series of performances after Sunday morning worship services on the second Sunday of the month. On October 12, 2025 The Lafayette Band, an intergenerational project of the LAPC creative community brought it to the patio under the flags. And on the snare drum, that's Dwayne 'Cook' Broadnax! Stop by at 12:30pm the second Sunday of the month. Also happening at that time, sneek-peek tours of this Fort Greene church's amazing sanctuary, its Tiffany windows, and Hank Prussing mural.
