The Social Justice Committee of Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church is proud to be a partner for this event in the “National Votes for Women Trail” program.

A plaque will be unveiled to honor Black women from Brooklyn who organized to get women the right to vote in the early 1900s.

Meet at the flagpole in the center of Cuyler Gore Park for some words and music. And then we’ll gather for the unveiling of the plaque.
